Paul Calderon is the Vice President of Store Growth at Five Below where he leads a cross-functional property and store development team. The team is responsible for store innovation, store design, store planning, architecture, construction, construction administration, and repair & maintenance. Their work product includes developing and implementing new store concepts, prototypes, new stores, relocations, expansions, remodels, special projects, and maintaining Five Below stores for a fast paced, high volume, and value-driven retailer.

Paul has over 30 years of experience working for multiple retailers and consulting organizations, including senior leadership roles at Burlington and Kohl’s, and leadership roles at Target, Mervyn’s, and Marshall Field’s. He is a strategic and results-driven leader with a successful track record of developing and championing transformational change that delivers enterprise-wide initiatives within complex matrix organizational structures and leading large cross-functional teams.

Paul is a licensed Architect (AIA & NCARB) who earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University, and his Master of Architecture from The University of Michigan.
