Bob Kennedy the Manager of Pre-Development & Construction planning for American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. He works to deliver stores to the organizations field teams seamlessly and on time with partnerships through technology and strong communication. Bob knows a successful store must start on the right foot, and that means a clean and complete handover from construction to operations.

Kennedy has been working in retail for 25 years — 22 of those years with American Eagle. He began his career as an Assistant store manager, worked his way up to store manager while managing new store opening projects, which led him to opportunities at the corporate level. He began in corporate in IT managing the installation of all technology in new store projects, moved into store operations where he led the new store opening process team for the global organization. Kennedy took an opportunity in construction as project manager in 2016 and landed his current role in 2022.

When Kennedy is not on the job, you can find him working on a DIY project around the house, enjoying a good meal or watching a sporting event. Being from Pittsburgh, PA, he is an avid Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan. Yes, the Pirates are on the list and one day will get another World Series title.
