Brian Walkerly is the Director of Development & Operations Services for White Castle. In this role, Brian is responsible for all aspects of the family-owned business’s real estate and development strategy, including new restaurants, manufacturing facilities, property redevelopment projects and joint venture partnerships. Brian is also responsible for the facilities management teams that service our portfolio of assets.
Brian joined White Castle in August 1999 as a Real Estate Manager. Throughout his 23-year tenure, he has played a pivotal role in some of White Castle’s most significant projects, including The Castle redevelopment at 2nd and High in Columbus, the new Castle in Orlando, Florida, and The Reach on Goodale, the White Castle-owned mixed-use development that is home to 244 apartments, 66,000 square feet of office space, The Fives event center and White Castle’s four-story, 105,000-square-feet headquarters.
Before joining White Castle, Brian managed shopping center properties for a commercial real estate company near Cleveland.
When he’s not working, the Bowling Green State University graduate can be found at the local hockey rink in the winter, coaching his daughter on the lacrosse field in the spring, and boating or fishing on Lake Erie in the summer. He’s a fan of Ohio State football and Cleveland sports teams.
Brian lives in suburban Columbus, Ohio, with his wife, son and daughter. He’s a volunteer with Families for a Cure, The Handshake America Foundation and is the president of the Upper Arlington High School Ice Hockey Boosters.
