Lindsey Newkirk is championing the sustainability journey at Dutch Bros Coffee, one of the fastest growing QSRs in the country. As the company’s Director of Sustainability, she has the opportunity to work in a cross-functional capacity to develop the company’s first comprehensive sustainability strategy. Lindsey has established tracking for the company’s annual carbon and water footprint and led the development of Dutch Bros’ first set of sustainability goals. Since Dutch Bros is a newly publicly listed company, Linsdey is producing its first ESG report.

Prior to joining Dutch Bros in 2019, Lindsey already dedicated 20 years to a career in sustainability. She has worked across a variety of different impact areas including waste reduction, green building, and sustainable event production for organizations such as The Oregon Convention Center, Adidas and Google’s Global Food Program.

She received her masters degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Oregon where she focused her studies on sustainable behavior change. Like everyone else from Oregon, Lindsey enjoys spending her time in nature and going on adventures with her dog in her hybrid compact SUV.
